The Consult
The first step in delivering great Architectural working drawings for permit is to schedule a meeting and discuss the details of your project. this is your opportunity to present all the needs, wants & concerns for your project. After assessing the scope of work, we will follow up and prepare you with a quote. Once you are ready to move forward, we will continue the process of designing your project.
Pre-Design
All municipalities in Ontario have by-laws indicating what you can and cannot do with your property. Gathering all this information will establish the baseline of what can legally be done and built on your lot. Also, if you’re planning for and addition PDC will need to create field drawings as it will help to form the baseline of the conceptual design.
Conceptual Design
The focus here is to explore ideas and generate possibilities relative to your vision for the project. We sketch layouts, craft ideas & curate them We refine and hone a conceptual design tailored specifically for you. It is much easier to adjust the direction of the design at this point because this is currently all about finding a direction that works best for you.
Design Development
We refine and explore the best possible design you agree to and leave no stone unturned. We transfer every idea to a computer where we show floor plans, elevations & sections. 3D visualization is a tool we can also use to better understand the scale, proportions and size of the project.
Construction Documents
We sign off on the drawings once the design for your project has been dialed in, details have been ironed out and are ready for permit. We provide complete architectural .pdf drawing sets for you form part of your permit application and can also provide hardcopies for your builder & trades too.
